Celebrating Pride 365 days 2021

From June 20 to June 29, 2021 the Brazilian LGBTQIA+ Community in Canada partner with CONCID (Brazilian Ontario Citizenship Council) and the LGBTQIA+ Portuguese community, organized a series of events "Celebrating Pride 365 days/year". This event was brought topics about Isolation, COVID, Mental Health, Intersectionality between trans and disability, and much more. We also had fun activities like Drag Queen performances and shows with Canadian and Brazilian singers. We collect clothes and donated them to The 519. I apply for a grant and could support the Portuguese/Brazilian community facing food insecurity.

All the videos are available on Youtube. The most important result of this event was the connection that we created with people from the Portuguese community and Brazilians from outside Toronto, the support to our community with food and clothes
